Medical Insurance Claims Clerk

Informatic Concepts is recruiting a Medical Insurance Claims Clerk for a 4-6-month assignment. The Medical Insurance Claims Clerk will be responsible for organizing and maintaining patient’s insurance claims, including personal information, medical history and billing records. Clerks enter medical and financial information into databases, create and implement filing systems, and ensure insurance claims are being managed according to industry standards.


  • Ensure insurance claims are mailed to patients in a timely matter
  • Confirm with medical personnel that insurance claims are complete and correct
  • Provides detailed documentation for all actions taken on accounts
  • Effectively utilizes time and resources in order to meet performance goals
  • Extensive work with primary, secondary and tertiary insurances

Education & Experience

  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Extensive knowledge of primary, secondary and tertiary insurances
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Attention to detail
