Informatic Concepts is seeking an experienced Information Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of security solutions that safeguard enterprise systems. This role will define and maintain the technical security architecture framework, ensure regulatory compliance, and evaluate emerging technologies and threats.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise-wide security architecture
- Develop and enforce policies aligned with HIPAA, ISO 27001, and NIST standards
- Assess risk across systems and applications, recommending mitigation strategies
- Serve as subject matter expert for secure system design and architecture reviews
- Collaborate with IT teams on secure implementations of infrastructure and applications
- Perform threat modeling and security assessments
- Participate in vendor risk reviews and compliance evaluations
- Lead incident response and ensure audit readiness
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of security experience in enterprise environments
- Security+ or equivalent required; CISSP, CISM, or GIAC preferred
- Deep knowledge of OSI model layers, encryption, authentication, firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems
- Experience in cloud security, identity and access management, and endpoint protection
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with tools like SIEM, DLP, VPN, and security scanning platforms
